Indonesian Learners’ Self-directed Learning and Resilience in Online English Classes: Assessing Interaction with L2 Achievement

ABSTRACTThe present study was conducted to find the relationship between English for Academic Purposes (EAP) learners’ Self-directed Learning (SDL) and their achievement as measured with EAP class grades well these resilience. This used a survey method of data collection 157 learners who were enrolled in online classes willingly participated study. Results Pearson’s correlation Regression analysis showed that SDL very weakly associated (r (155) = .01, p > .05), being unable predict ultimate (R2 .000). further found weak negative resilience -.02, .05).
